Fish, bacteria, and plants are the main parts of aquaponics.

The waste is turned into food for the plants by bacteria.

Material 재료

a poor and small stones, a fish tank, a plastic tube, a water pump plants, some fish, a box cutter, clay

화분과 작은 돌멩이들, 어항, 플라스틱 관, 수중 펌프, 식물, 물고기 몇 마리, 커터칼, 찰흙

Steps 과정

1. I made holes in the bottom of a pot. Then I put small stones and plants in it.

1. 화분 바닥에 구멍을 뚫었다. 그런 다음 그 안에 작은 돌멩이들과 식물을 넣었다.

2. I made a big hole in the lid of the fish tank and put the pot in the hole.

2. 어항 덮개에 큰 구멍을 내고 그 구멍에 화분을 꽂았다.

3. I fixed the pot in place with clay.

3. 찰흙으로 화분을 제자리에 고정했다.

4. I made another hole in the lid and put a tube through it.

4. 덮개에 또 다른 구멍을 하나 만들고 그 구멍을 통해 관을 꽂았다.

5. I put a water pump in the fish tank. I used the tube to connect the pump to the pot.

5. 어항에 수중 펌프를 넣었다. 펌프를 화분에 연결하기 위해 관을 이용했다.

6. I filled the fish tank with water and put some fish in it. Then I turned on the pump.

6. 물로 어항을 채우고 그 안에 물고기 몇 마리를 넣었다. 그러고 나서 펌프를 켰다.

Results 결과

From this experiment, I grew my plants and raised fish with aquaponics.

이 실험에서 나는 아쿠아포닉스로 식물을 키우고 물고기를 길렀다.

I just fed the fish, but the plants have grown 17 centimeters in three months.

나는 그저 물고기에게 밥을 주기만 했는데 식물이 석 달 만에 17cm가 자랐다.

The fish stay healthy and the water is clean all the time.

물고기는 건강한 상태를 유지하며 물을 항상 깨끗하다.

Conclusion 결론

Some important things about aquaponics were learned from this experiment.

First, water is saved because the plants don't need watering.
