Scene 1: In a room

(Prince comes in, jumping around.)

Princess: Stop jumping around, honey.

Prince: Well, I just can’t stop.

Princess: You’re not a frog anymore.

Prince: What’s wrong with you? You don’t go down to the pond these days.

Princess: I don’t like it when you jump around in the room.

Go out to kill monsters and save our people.

Prince: I don’t want to go out and kill anything.

I just feel like running away. (Picking up a book) Listen!

I’m living my life as the book says, but we’re not happy.

Prince: I’m glad to meet you. I’m the Frog Prince.

Witch 1: Frog Prince, you say? That’s funny. You don’t look like a frog.

Well, it doesn’t matter.

If you’re a prince, you’re a prince. And I won’t let you save Snow White. Here, eat the rest of this apple.

Prince: No, thank you. That’s not what I want!

(Runs away)

but I’ll give it a try. It’s my first time, you know.

(Fairy turns Prince into a wheel.)

Fairy: Oops! Sorry, but don’t worry. Everything will be okay.

Prince: (To himself) Oh, what a fool I’ve been!

I want to be sitting at home with the Princess, living happily ever after.

But instead, I’m stuck here under this cart and I’ll live unhappily ever after.

 

 

(The clock hits twelve, and the wheel turns into Prince.)

Prince: I can’t believe this. Thank you for giving me a second chance.

Now I know how I should live my life. (Goes out)

Fairy: (Waving her hand) You learned a good lesson. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Scene 3: In the Frog Prince’s house

(Prince runs in, smiling.)

Princess: Where have you been? I’ve been worried. Your clothes are a mess.

Prince: (Looking at Princess) You believed me when no one else in the world did.

You loved me even when I was a frog.

From now on, I will make you happier.

Princess: I’m glad to hear that. I’ll make you even happier.

Prince: Great! I’m looking forward to our bright future. Ha-ha ....

(They run to the pond together, jumping hand in hand.)
