우리 동네 사람들

People in my town have different jobs.

우리 동네 사람들은 다양한 직업을 갖고 있다.

There are cooks, teachers, doctors, bus drivers, and so on.

요리사, 교사, 의사, 버스 운전사 등이 있다.

Thanks to them, I know a lot of things about jobs.

그들 덕분에 나는 직업에 관하여 많은 것들을 안다.

 

Mr. Austin lives next door.

오스틴씨는 옆집에 산다.

He is a script writer for TV dramas.

그는 TV드라마의 대본 작가이다.

His mystery series are always very popular.

그의 미스터리 연속극은 항상 인기가 매우 많다.

He travels a lot and meets many people to get ideas for his work.

그는 작업에 관한 아이디어를 얻기 위해 여행을 많이 다니고 많은 사람들을 만난다.

When he has free time, he usually reads books for more ideas.

여유 시간이 있을 때, 그는 더 많은 아이디어를 얻기 위해 주로 책을 읽는다.

 

Last Saturday I asked him about the last episode of his drama, but he said."You'll see it on TV, Emma."

지난 토요일에 나는 그에게 드라마의 마지막 방송분에 관해 물어보았지만, 그는 “엠마, 그것은 TV에서 보렴” 이라고 말했다.

Oh, I can't wait!.

Mr. Austin : When I start writing a new series, I usually stay up late for days.

When I walk around the corner, a sweet smell comes from Ms, Gray's bakery.

She gets up really early to bake bread and cakes.

Sometimes she makes a new kind of bread.

Then we can taste it for free.

Her bread is always wonderful.

She is like a magician.

She works wonders with four, milk, and eggs.

Ms. Gray : I have to get up at four to bake fresh bread.

Mr.Willams lives near the park.

When my dogs gets sick, I always take her to him.

나의 개가 아플 때, 나는 항상 그에게 개를 데려간다.

He does his best to treat her.

그는 개를 치료하기 위해 최선을 다한다.

Sometimes he goes to different farms to take care of animals.

때때로 그는 동물들을 돌보기 위해 여러 농장으로 간다.

 

Last Sunday he got a call from Ms. Bailey.

지난 일요일에 그는 베일리여사로부터 전화를 받았다.

He hurried to her farm.

그는 서둘러 그녀의 농장으로 갔다.

With his help, her cow gave birth to a cute baby.

그의 도움으로 그녀의 소는 귀여운 소를 낳았다.

Ms Bailey was happy and thanked the doctor.

베일리 여사는 기뻐했고 그에게 감사했다.

Mr. Williams : Animals can't talk about their problems.

동물들은 그들의 문제에 대해 말할 수가 없어요.

I always try to understand them.
